Dumpsie Dearie

Jams and Jellies is delighted to announce a brand new jam.

It’s called Dumpsie Dearie Jam and it’s probably an old Gloucestershire recipe from the 19th century. I had to make it because of its name and also the ingredients. I think it’s going to be a good winter jam. It’s made from apples, plums, pears, lemons, root ginger with an added pinch of cloves.

Ingredients: Pears, Cooking Apples, Plums; Sugar; Lemon, Ginger Root, Ground Cloves 

Fruit content 55g per 100g. Total sugar content 58g per 100g

Will keep unopened for 1 year.
