Chuckleberry Jam 12oz Jar

A chuckleberry is a hybrid between a redcurrant, gooseberry and jostaberry (a jostaberry already being a hybrid of a gooseberry and blackcurrant). This large mix of different flavour profiles has resulted in a dark red/purple fruit around the size of a blackcurrant, with a complex, yet delicious taste.

It provides a sharpness to the jam, whilst simultaneously being sweet. The name also makes me smile..

The Cuckleberries that we use are grown, picked and frozen by Windmill Hill Farm, Harewood End, Hereford, HR2 8JS

Ingredients: Chuckleberries; Sugar; Lemon

Fruit content 50g per 100g. Total sugar content 55g per 100g

Store in a cool, dark, dry place

Will keep unopened for 1 year.
